Buck up

In all honesty guys I haven't been doing my share of working out since the New Year began. Ugh. I swear, I've probably gained more weight then I'd like. I've managed to start a workout video. The question is, will I keep it,... I was beginning to feel flabbish, sluggish, and all the ish in the world. My husband was shaking my thigh (you know when you grab the bottom part of your thigh and giggle it) - he didn't mean to offend me. But, I did get offended and realize that it wasn't this jiggily until I stopped jogging. Blah.

I hurt my hip ever since. So, now I'm babying it. But, there isn't a safe place to run around my neighborhood. The bypass is right between us and the town I'd run into. So, it's kind of scary. Besides, my husband has school around the times I'd like to run, before dark. Blah. So, i'm sticking to the DVDs for now.

Day 1 : 30 Day Shred

Oh yes. Day One. We begin on February 1st. It's hard work guys. I only got 10 minutes in and it frickin HURTS =/

Now, after an additional 15 minutes. I'm hurting! Seriously. So I did in total 25 minutes and it burns. My legs are all wobbly and I just feeeelll... GREAT! Tomorrow again!

So lately I have been working real hard on "planning" my whole system that I'll be doing. It's been challenging because while I'm at it I'm still trying to find the time to work out. With two kids & an always tired husband - sometimes I don't have MY own time until the kids are in bed. But when that is, my husband is playing with his xbox & I can't necessarily wait until he's done by then it's like 1am. I'm too tired by then.

Randomly, I googled "How many calories you burn when breastfeeding" and boy you burn a lot in a day. Especially if you're exclusively breastfeeding. So, I read this and that's it. I'm gonna breastfeed for as long as it takes.

So, I have to come up with something. I don't wanna necessarily STARVE myself when it comes to calories because it says a breast feeding mom should eat anywhere between 1800 to 2000 calories a day. A person trying to lose weight, aka Biggest Loser, they eat only 1200 calories a day so imagine that. I must admit. I was at that point of starving myself only eating 1 meal a day and scarfing down snacks thruout the day. But, errr. it felt wrong. So I don't know.

Goals: Schedule a time of day to exercise even if it's for 30 minutes, Plan my meals more wisely (eat sizable meals & snacks), and breastfeed (=

04.02.11 - Welcome Post

Hello world.
I'm Ashley. But please please please call me Ash. I'm new to this journey and I figure that it's still the new year and I just had a baby it's all in good world. But anyways, here we go.. I'm learning a new habit I don't know what it is yet but I know that it has to come and come quick because I need to lose some weight.

Weigh in: (04022011) - 160 lbs.
Goal: 10-15 lbs.

I'm going to set my goal really low. I know that I want to lose 10lbs, and 15lbs will be cherry! But anyways, lets see...

My Weakness: Late night munching, Soda, and Sweets.
Exercise Goal: 400 or 500 Jumping jacks daily.
